Melody Sumner

Hi. I'm Melody Sumner. I have been the receptionist at Grace Place since June 2002. What a wonderful job I have meeting people as they come into the church and Lighthouse Cafe and showing them around our beautiful facility. I love sharing how God has blessed us and is continuing to show us new ways to reach as many as possible!

My husband Gary and I have been attending Grace Place since it first started in 1996. We have lived in Erie for the past year and a half and we believe the saying, “A church alive is worth the drive.” We have two grown children. Jarrod and his family live in Fredericksburg, VA and Jacy & Joe live in Westminster . We have five wonderful grandchildren and I love being grandma.

I love to hike and spend time outdoors in the mountains and at the beach. Gary and I love to travel and we were privileged to be a part of the first Grace Place Trip to the Holy Land in March 2007. I enjoy time with my family and friends and serving God through the ministry of Grace Place.
