MariLee Parrish

My name is MariLee Parrish and I lead the preschool (infants-kindergarten) program at Loveland.  I have been working with children most of my life.  I am also a freelance musician, songwriter and freelance writer for Barbour Publishing.  My husband Eric and I are originally from Ohio where we were both active at our church leading the youth and working with children and teens in many ways.  We have always had a passion for seeing children and teens commit themselves wholeheartedly to the Lord!  I graduated from Malone College with a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Music Technology. 

After college I took a staff position in Ohio at Grace Chapel as the Creative Arts Director/Worship Leader.  I also continued to work with children and youth in our music programs.  We moved to Colorado in the Spring of 2005 for my husband's job.  I then got a job as the Before and After School director at Berthoud Elementary, which I really enjoyed.

While I was carrying our first child I got very sick and had to quit working at Berthoud El.  After our baby Jake was born, I began working at Grace Place.  I also have two books that were published and are coming out next year: "31 Family Devotions for Christmas", and the "Cookie Lovers Cookbook."

I have really enjoyed getting to know the children at Loveland and I am working with a bunch of wonderful volunteers who love the Lord!
