MOPS – Adventures in Mothering

Welcome to Grace Place MOPS!  MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be.  If you are expecting your first child, or have kids up through kindergarten – MOPS is for you!

I'm very excited about the coming MOPS year!  We have an enthusiastic and fun steering (leadership) team that is filled with new ideas.  This year's theme is “Adventures in Mothering” and we all know what an adventure it is.  We hope to use the theme this year to support each other during this roller coaster time of life, but also to explore our interests, dreams and goals as women.

Your steering team has fun activities, informative speakers, and great devotions planned that revolve around these needs.  We also have activities outside of MOPS meetings planned for the moms (Moms Night Out) as well as the entire family (an evening MOPS & POPS meeting).

We are gearing up for a great year beginning September 9th.  We have designed fun mornings, with you in mind!  While your children are entertained in a fun, caring program, you will be enjoying a light breakfast, adult conversations, a devotion, and a program consisting of either a creative activity or speakers on topics such as photography, connecting with your kids, self-defense, focusing on what matters and finding hope. 

We have two groups to choose from in order to serve as many as possible.  Morning MOPS will meet from 9am – 11:15am the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays and Night MOPS will meet from 6pm - 8pm (dinner is provided!) the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from September to May, with the exception of December, March and May, when we will only meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  Childcare is provided during both the morning and night meetings.
