Children age 0-4years that are in families with a strong need. We will focus on the children and meeting their needs, regardless of the parent's morals, values, or priorities. We will not judge a family who says they are need, but we will embrace grace. We hope that our love will draw the parents to know more about Christ, but our target population is the child and helping them first, no matter what the parent's response is to our gifts.
MISSION STATEMENT:
To glorify God by reaching children in desperate times with the gospel of grace in action, showing them that Christ's provision is unconditional, and our love is nonjudgmental.
VISION STATEMENT:
It is our vision to provide good quality, gently used or new clothes and baby essentials to children within our community (Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Berthoud, Longmont.) We hope to impact the children in our community that are desperate for help during the next five years, by working from our homes (Sarah & Tahnee) 5-10 hours per week, on a limited basis. However, our long-term vision is to see this ministry go from a small ministry out of our basements, into something that will be recognizable to the people in our community. Ideally, we would like to have a building in Loveland, and would be available more hours and provide for a larger population of children in need. We also see this ministry as an outreach ministry for Grace Place. Our vision is that pouring out God's grace on those in need, without judgment, will draw them to our church.
CORE VALUES:
We believe that the gospel of salvation through the finished work of Christ is the central message of the Bible and the true source for all Christian security, identity, unity, community, ministry, maturity, and outreach. We believe that Christ displayed a perfect example for how we should view outreach and strive to be Christ-like in all we do.
We also believe that it breaks God's heart to see children suffering, but we know that God will defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy (Psalms 72:4.) We believe that God invites us to be co-laborers with him, which means we must remain humbly dependent through prayer, while at the same time working diligently, making plans, accomplishing goals, and striving to give our best for his kingdom. A commitment to excellence, coupled with a spirit of humility, will characterize all our endeavors.
