How to Get Involved in Mission Madera

Join the International Ministries team!

The work of the international mission's team is accomplished in subcommittees, and you are needed to help on a committee!  Even if you don't think you can ever go on a trip to Mexico, you can help by supporting the work that will be done there!

Family Blessing/Boxes - Determines the families that are in need, and what is needed, collects items, and coordinate delivery.
Missionary care and support – Maintain correspondence with missionaries, coordinate and encourage congregation support of missionaries.
Education and Training – Coordinate missions education of congregation, coordinate and train those going on project mission trips.
Construction/Building – Determine building specifications for projects, spec out materials and supplies, coordinate collection of materials and supplies, determine project groups.
Prayer Partners – Coordinate prayer support for missionaries and all project trips.
Worship Team – Coordinate and provide devotions and worship during trips, keeping the team focused on God and service to His people.
Trip Leaders – Coordinate on-site logistics for trips; supervise all work and projects on-site.
Logistics & Planning – Assist with trip planning and preparation, coordinate with sub-committee leaders, coordinate information dissemination (including hotels, transportation, etc.) and collection with those going on trips.
Finance/Stewardship – Help handle the financial logistics for missions trips, help with fundraising, and help prepare the missions budget.

Go To Mexico!!

There are tentatively four trips planned over the next year that you can serve on.  People are needed on each trip for specific projects and to provide logistical support such as collecting materials, preparing food for meals and breaks, small projects like painting and staining.  If you are interested in participating on a trip complete an application (available at the Missions Table or the Welcome Center) to get the process started!
