The Grace Place Counseling Ministry provides an in-depth training program to equip participants in the area of Biblical Counseling.  Biblical counseling is a Christ-centered, grace-based, biblically rich approach to ministering to those going through life's challenges and difficulties.

Materials from the International Association of Biblical Counselors are used as a foundational base with other resources and reading materials being assigned at the discretion of the instructor.  Participants will be given the opportunity to become certified in the area of Biblical Counseling by completing four semesters of class and by participating in assigned practicums and a personal evaluation process through an interview with the instructor.

Mission

To provide resources, training and an equipped Biblical counseling team that may serve the members of the congregation in times of need for pastoral care and encouragement.

Vision

Grace Place members will have the opportunity to take part in classes training participants in the area of Biblical counseling twice a year with a track being developed for full certification in the area of Biblical counseling.

Members of Grace Place will have a team of Biblical counselors available to provide encouragement and support in times of need and pastors will have this team of trained Biblical counselors available to assist them as requested.
